Seven Pup

My very first pup, kind of a pest but I was loving him...

The moment this young furball came into my life there was an immediate match and connection. He visited me for four days and when he was saying his goodbyes we were both in tears. The very next weekend he was back on my doorstep and so the story continued for the following two years. Every weekend the puppy who hates trains and travelling long distances was coming to see me for more fun and puppy training.

He was cute and nice, but his personality often got in his own way as he lacked the confidence he needed to express himself. This was the result of bad past experiences and the lack thereof. As a result he made incisive comments and had a big mouth, yet at the same time he required a lot of attention and confirmation. He demanded care and exclusivity as his biggest fear was that I’d abandon him for a ‘better’ pup.

For two years I took him with me everywhere I went: events, weekend trips, to my stores and so on… until one day his mom discovered all the pictures and videos we made together. As he was still a student and fully reliant on his family he was left no choice…

Despite the distance and the time it took for us to meet, we still keep in touch. It’s not the same anymore, but it’s not really different either. Seven is still Seven – my very first pup. He’s the one who made me grow and learn so much.

Kind of a pest, able to poke so many people the wrong way, but once he looked me in the eyes with fiery love, nothing else on earth mattered anymore…
